Guest：The hotel looks nice, but service is a problem. Wake up calls arrived only inconsistently. The overpriced computer time is made even worse by glitches caused by the service provider. The front desk staff was helpful after I made them aware of the problem. Later, another front desk employee was most sincere and forthcoming with information about trains at nearby Haymarket station - but if I had not double checked the information she gave me, I would have missed my train. Another problem: as a large tour group, we had some meals in a separate room. I found out later that these meals were quite inferior in quality to what is normally served in the hotel The dead spider I found in my coffee cup kind of sums it up: this Hilton does not live up to the standards I would associate with this well known hotel chain.
Guest：We only stayed here for a couple of nights and spent the majority of our time out of the hotel. If you were planning to spend more time inside I’d recommend to choose an alternative hotel. The place wasn’t overly exciting, rooms were okay, maybe a little tired looking. We didn’t have any issues as such, we just weren’t blown away by the place. The location wasn’t amazing as it was a fair walk towards the shops, castle and other attractions.

Guest：Comfy bed and great breakfast at a really good price. Room was too hot but there was a fan and standing ac which were perfect. Few maintenance things in the room around a previous leak in ceiling, stain on carpet and window ledge which need TLC. The shower curtain needs to go in the bin and be replaced.
